Supermarket wine discounts are not what they seem, according to Guardian Money. The newspaper tracked the prices of major wine brands at Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda. It found that the mults set retail prices at what critics say are artificially high levels, then slash them to give the impression of a major discount.
