Independent retailers have increased snack sales by up to 33% by using KP Snacks’ latest SnacKPartners merchandising advice.

The uplift is the result of 12 store relays across the country, which were carried out over the past six months.

Harj Gill, owner of The Windmill (Select and Save) in Birmingham had an uplift of 33%, while Raj Aggarwal of Spar Sheffield and Wigston increased his category sales by 20%.

Matt Collins, KP Snacks convenience sales director, said retailers need to make it easy for consumers to shop the category.

“By providing our retailers with impartial category advice which is bespoke to each store’s location and size, we have seen some really impressive sales uplifts,” he said.
