Independent retail brand General Store has opened its latest convenience offering in Salford’s MediaCityUK.

Located in the recently completed Lightbox development near the set of Coronation Street, the 3,500sq ft site follows existing General Store venues in Ancoats, Stretford and Sale.

The new store is supplied by Costcutter Supermarkets Group and stocks fresh, chilled and frozen produce, including over 2,000 products from the Co-op own brand range.

The two-storey venue will also champion local makers, feature a coffee shop, street food vendors and an alcohol emporium, as well as zero-waste, household essential refill stations.
