Ferrero launches Tic Tac trip to New York competition for retailers

Fancy a trip to the Big Apple? Tic Tac is giving retailers the opportunity to win a three-night trip to New York and $500 spending money.

Tic TacThe “Win a trip to the Big Apple” promotion launches in January, a year after Tic Tac Apple Burst was introduced to the market.

Retailers can enter by buying a promotion case of Tic Tac, which includes a scratchcard and unique code. They can then enter the code at ferrero-trade.com and be immediately informed if they have won or not. The top prize includes three nights’ luxury accommodation in New York for two, entry to the Empire State Building, a sightseeing helicopter flight, and a $145 dinner at a top New York restaurant. Meanwhile, 50 runners up will receive a PoS kits to help boost sugar confectionery sales.

“By offering retailers this fantastic opportunity we are taking the trade promotion landscape away from just offering free stock and giving retailers something that they can genuinely get excited about,” said Levi Boorer, customer development director at Ferrero.

“We want to reward retailers for their hard work and commitment to the Tic Tac brand while at the same time helping to drive growth for the sugar confectionery category.”
