EXCLUSIVE: First look at the new Skittles ad

Tapping into the trend for tropical flavours, take an exclusive first look at the TV ad here, promoting skittles tropical.

Tapping into the trend for tropical flavours, Wrigley has launched a new Tropical addition to its Skittles range.

Available to retailers from January 25, Skittles Tropical comes in 55g single bags, 125g hanging bags and 174g sharing pouches, RRP 49p, £1 and £1.28 respectively. The hanging bags are available in price-marked packs.

The launch will be backed by a campaign, which sees the brand support a new addition on TV for the first time, from January 17. The brand is also aiming to reach more than 10 million consumers with digital activity.

Retailers are advised to stock four different Skittles flavours and monitor what is selling best to determine their ranges.

Dan Newell, Wrigley confections marketing manager, said: “Tropical flavour represents a huge sales opportunity for retailers to keep up-to-date with the latest flavour trend in the fruit confectionery category.”
