Chocolate Multipack and large format sales grow

An increasing number of shoppers in the UK are buying larger formats and multipacks of chocolate bars this year, compared to 2017, RN’s What to Stock data has revealed.

An increasing number of shoppers in the UK are buying larger formats and multipacks of chocolate bars, compared to 2017, RN’s What to Stock data has revealed.

The countlines chart showed Twix Xtra 75g climbed five spots to tenth place this year, having a  large 73.2% distribution across 4,000 UK retail stores.

Snickers Duo 83.4g also climbed two places up the chart, ranking it at fourth position, with average weekly sales per stockist amounting to £4.47.

Meanwhile, Cadbury Twirl 43g 5-pack became the first multipack to debut on the table, entering the chart in ninth position. Its average weekly sales per stockist totalled to £8.19.
