Camelot celebrates 25 years of National Lottery with new games

Camelot has announced a new series of games to celebrate 25 years of the National Lottery that will help retailers drive footfall and basket spend.

A Camelot spokesperson revealed to Better Retailing that a new 25th anniversary scratchcard will be released this week.

It will include an extra game and represents the best chance of any product for customers to win £25. “Whether you have been selling for a year or 25 years, retailers are at the heart of what we do,” they said. 

“It’s only because of retailers that the National Lottery has made it to 25 years, and we are running events that will help drive sales in your store.”

Camelot launches National Lottery retailer hub

Camelot also revealed special National Lottery and Euromillions event draws. The firm’s head of field sales, Greg Deacon, explained: ‘The celebrations start with a special 25th birthday Scratchcard, which launches on 8th August and gives players the best chance of winning £25 on a National Lottery Scratchcard. In addition, in November, Lotto will have an exciting £25 million Must Be Won jackpot draw and EuroMillions will make an amazing 25 guaranteed UK millionaires. Camelot will tour UK stores with key dates as well as provide posters showing how much each retailer has raised for good causes through the National Lottery.
