News on the Wharf has recently launched a magazine loyalty card. Owner, Peter Wagg says;

“It works exactly the same as the “coffee shop” schemes. We have produced cards and each of our stores has our unique rubber stamp. When a customer buys a magazine (weekly are not included at present) their card is stamped. On production of a card with five stamps they get a 20% discount off the next magazine, whatever its cover price.”

Peter’s motivation for this promotion:

The knowledge in recent years customers have become more promiscuous when purchasing their magazines.

His loyal and regular customers will be rewarded and it will encourage others to always purchase their magazines from Canary Wharf’s own and only specialist newsagent.

Peter’s early results from the promotion:

In the first 2 weeks there have been over 30 loyalty cards filled and ‘spent’.
