IAA retail innovation advice ramps up store’s sales by £400 a week

A retailer that quickly implemented retail innovation advice given to him by the IAA and News UK has boosted sales by £400 in a week.

A retailer that quickly implemented advice given to him by the Independent Achievers Academy and News UK has boosted sales by £400 in a week.

On a recent visit to Vince Malone’s Tenby Stores & Post Office in Pembrokeshire he was advised by the learning and development programme to put together welcome hampers that create a point of difference for local tourists.

Malone said he distributed leaflets to local bed & breakfasts and camping grounds to tell them about the new hampers and took £400-worth of orders last week.

“The hampers also proved a valuable talking point, opening conversations with a campsite, which we will now start delivering goods to,” he said.
