James Brundle works hard on making sure his store offers "something a bit different to other convenience stores."

He does this by sourcing a third of the shop’s products himself, something that saw him nominated for an IAA award for Effective Ranging in 2010.

"We try and use local suppliers as much as possible and so we get some of our fruit and vegetables locally. We have a really wide range of free range meat which we get from a farmer in Wales. We also have an in store bakery and we sell 16 different varieties of bread," he says.
