One Stop announced yesterday that it will be expanding the brand to Scotland from early 2015.

The business is opening both the company-owned and franchise stores and the sites will be serviced from its Wakefield depot.

CEO of One Stop, Tony Reed said: “This is an exciting development for One Stop and we’re proud to be able to serve the Scottish market. Having had over 200 enquiries from Scotland to date, we know that there’s an appetite for our growing franchise model.”

It was revealed a new business development management manager for Scotland has been hired and is due to start in mid-January.  The Tesco-owned symbol group has also tailored the product range to suit the Scottish market.

The business growth was revealed after One Stop already gained a new cluster in the Stoke-on-Trent area, with five new franchises opening up in five weeks.
