Dee Bee trade show to go virtual
Moving the show online will act as a testing bed for the viability of future events
Dee Bee Wholesale Trade Exhibition will held virtually in June following the cancellation of its physical event on 13 May.
The trade show will be held online on 1 June, allowing retailers to see the latest promotions and new products from suppliers.
Dee Bee’s original trade show in May was one of many retail events cancelled due to safety concerns around the coronavirus outbreak.
Nick Ramsden, Dee Bee Wholesale managing director, told betterRetailing: “The virtual show was something we had been thinking of over the past year. An online trade show is more convenient for retailers.
“Depending on the success of this virtual show, there’s a possibility we might hold similar events online in the future.”
