Booker retailers continue to wait for promised Tesco lines

Booker retailers will have to continue waiting for access to Tesco lines promised to them as part of the merger of the two giants

Booker retailers will have to continue waiting for access to Tesco lines promised to them as part of the merger of the two giants.

Asked by RN about the 30 Tesco own-label lines he’d promised to share with Booker stores by August, Tesco CEO Dave Lewis would not give a date for when the products would become available.

Lewis added: “I’ve met with both the Tesco and Booker teams and we are going to roll out more product availability. It’s all ‘so far, so good’, and we’re trying to find more ways to come together to help Booker retailers.”

Seventy Tesco shops have already been given access to 30 Booker products, and Booker retailers have received access to some branded lines previously only available to the supermarkets.
