Zappy days for customers with P&H’s new loyalty app

The partnership between Palmer & Harvey and Zapper allows the wholesaler to offer its Plus Extra members a marketing platform to reward loyal customers.

Palmer & Harvey has become the first wholesaler to partner with Zapper to reward customer loyalty.

The partnership allows the wholesaler to offer its Plus Extra members a marketing platform to gain shopper insights and reward loyal customers.

The app allows customers to pay, redeem offers, give feedback and gain loyalty points.

Retailers will be able to use the app to send digital vouchers and incentives to individual customers based on their previous purchases.

The app also helps retailers avoid lengthy queues. Retailers can scan a QR code to upload the bill straight to users’ phones, allowing them to pay quickly and claim their vouchers.

Simon Harris, business development controller for Palmer & Harvey, said Zapper will provide 3,000 Plus Extra members with reward solutions for their customers.

“We are consistently looking at ways of providing new and innovative ways to driving footfall in stores,” he added.

Zapper has had nearly one million downloads since its launch in 2011. It is available to download on Android, iOS and Windows Phone.
