Retailers will be able to access new product trends unavailable in traditional wholesalers following the launch of an online supplier.

Automated convenience stores are the future according to Sonae

The company’s chief executive, Nicky Jackson, told betterRetailing RangeMe has built experience in convenience through partnerships with major retailers such as 7 Eleven in the US. “Retailers can discover products around the world. They can message the suppliers, request a sample and cut down the time products end up on shelves.”

Referencing the success retailers saw with social media trends similar to Little Moons, Jackson added: “We’ve been able to provide feedback on trends six to 12 months before they became popular, such as those trending on Instagram.”
