The 2014 Fifa World Cup has kicked off, but Spar is still urging all c-stores to make the most of the opportunity by stocking up on snacking and sharing lines.
The symbol group said its Spar Brand comprises a range of food, such as an Indian selection pack, pizza and garlic slices, which is suitable for nights in watching the football tournament. It said soft drinks and alcohol should also be available at all times and be made more visible.
Susan Darbyshire, Spar brand director, said: “Spar retailers are well-equipped to capitalise on the rush home to watch the games, when audiences are eager to get to their TV screens and grab snacks, evening meals and drinks quickly on their way.”
