Hancocks reopens after Storm Dennis flooding

Hancocks has reopened its depot and head office in Loughborough after it was damaged by flooding from Storm Dennis.

The cash and carry suffered heavy stock losses after being hit by up to two feet of flood water two weeks ago. 

Hancocks Cash & Carry expands its range and access

The confectionery wholesaler explained: “Teams rushed in to begin rescuing anything that hadn’t already floated away, but we’ve had our work cut out to clear and clean the cash and carry.  

“Everyone has pulled together, with such strength that in three days we’ve cleared the bulk of the stock that was written off, but we suffered heavy stock loss.”
