Costcutter retailers were unable to check invoicing and planograms for three days following a “technical issue”.
Routine maintenance to the symbol group’s ActiveHUB page on the weekend of 19 March led to a number of services, such as the ability to view invoices and planograms, being taken offline. Retailers were still able to order stock and full service resumed on 21 March.
A Bestway spokesperson said: “Following routine maintenance by our vendor over the weekend, a technical issue resulted in a range of Costcutter services being taken offline.
“Our IT team have worked throughout the day to get this resolved and ActivHUB is now back online for our retailers, with our consumer-facing sites soon to follow.
“We sincerely apologise for the downtime our customers have experienced and assure them that business is now returning to normal.”
