Supermalt has added a Ginger Beer to its portfolio, a non-alcoholic carbonated soft drink available in original and a zero-sugar varieties.

The drink is available in 330ml glass bottles and 330ml cans, designed as an alternative to alcohol for those abstaining, or even as a mixer.

Neil Lunn, trade marketing manager at Royal Unibrew, said: “Ginger beer is  seeing a significant uplift in demand year on year, especially in glass bottles. Following a period of research, we identified many Supermalt fans also enjoyed the taste of ginger beer and this offered a natural step to allow us to expand our core Supermalt portfolio, as well as welcome new consumers to the brand.”
