Yesterday the street-by-street route that the Olympic torch will take to the opening ceremony on the 27 July was officially announced. The 70 day journey will begin in Land’s End on 19 July and will take the torch (and accompanying crowds!) through cities, towns and along high streets around the country.
Taking in every nation and region, organisers say that 95% of the population should be within 1 hour of the route. We see this as a great opportunity for convenience stores to increase sales!
