Do you offer, or do you plan to introduce contactless payment in your store?
In this week’s RN poll, 35% of voters told us they plan to introduce contactless payments in their store.
This result comes a week after the Association of Convenience Stores’ Local Shop Report revealed that 33% of the convenience sector already offers contactless payments, and the limit per transaction was increased from £20 to £30.
Jai Singh, of MJ’s Go Local in Sheffield, is one retailer who has adopted the payment method. He said it had helped cut queue times, and hoped the increase limit would mean more customers would choose to pay this way.
Is it time for you to think about adding contactless payment?
Don’t forget to vote in this week’s poll on holidays.
