A distributor of office supplies, till roll, uniform, signage, cleaning equipment and other retail supplies is seeking more partnerships with small shops.
RS Sales & Distribution already has existing partnerships with forecourt chains such as EG Group and some of the larger-format retailers within the Budgens and Costcutter estates.
Retailers can access several hundred products, with delivery completed within 24-to-48 hours. C-Store Collective founder Jonathan Rons said that one multi-site retailer partnered with RS Sales had saved £30,000 in costs across several stores.
He added: “These products are a focus for many retailers. Some do manage it quite well on their own, but others will go to various suppliers to get till roll, cleaning materials, bakery products, or printing ink and paper. With RS Sales, they can buy the whole lot in one shop from one invoice, and that saves a lot of time. They also have scale, which means they can help retailers save costs. It helps with time saving and efficiency.”

Commenting further on its recruitment campaign, Rons added: “They already work with some big groups within the convenience channel, but they’re mainly multiples. They’ve realised there’s an opportunity to go after smaller independent sites. The symbol groups will have their own suppliers for many of these products, but the opportunity to help retailers save from a broader aspect is a huge one.
“There are some retailers who won’t know there are suppliers that can provide these products on a wider scale and make their operation more efficient.”
