First open platform EPoS for convenience unveiled

A new EPoS system that allows convenience store owners to personalise their payments systems has been revealed by TLM Technologies.

A new EPoS system that allows convenience store owners to personalise their payments systems has been launched by TLM Technologies.

EvoPOS allows retailers to add loyalty schemes, social marketing services and customer feedback tools instantly and without high additional costs. It does this by allowing third-party apps to be added on to the system, much like on a smartphone. The company claims this sets it apart from any other convenience EPoS system on the market.

The system also offers backwards compatibility with previous Oracle systems that the company said  "are no longer being developed for the future needs of the sector”. Unlike other systems with upfront purchase costs, TLM’s new till system works on a monthly subscription model.

The company’s CEO Lee Papper said: “I believe that what we have created not only measures up to what the market needs, but is completely changing the game on what retailers can expect from the technology solutions powering their business.”
