Camelot launches ‘I Am Team GB’ Lotto campaign

National Lottery retailers are able to take advantage of a new campaign highlighting the organisation's support of Team GB.

Camelot has announced the launch of its ‘I Am Team GB’ campaign, which will celebrate the National Lottery’s support of the British Olympic team.

Launching at 7.15pm tonight, an animated advert will air on ITV; it will also be shared via the social channels of athletes, sports bodies, UK Sport and the British Olympic Association at the exact same time.

National Lottery retailers can take advantage of the campaign with the in-store PoS and promotions, which include graphics, posters and banners featuring the Team GB logo as well as branded bunting.

To further support the campaign, there will be special Lotto draws in August and September to promote both the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

“This campaign highlights the unique role that The National Lottery plays in supporting the UK’s elite athletes, with no-one having contributed more to elite sport in the UK than National Lottery players,” said Arabella Gilchrist, head of brand for The National Lottery.

“Every ticket and scratchcard purchased helps our athletes on the Road to Rio, and with National Lottery players contributing over £80m per year to support over 1,300 athletes for sporting success in Rio and beyond, all our players should truly feel ‘I Am Team GB’.”
