A Vape Regulations webinar that will equip retailers with insight and guidance on operating a profitable next-gen categories post-disposable vapes ban will take place this month.
The webinar, in association with BAT, is the second to be run by the Women in Convenience initiative, following on from the success of the Tackling Retail Crime webinar in December 2024.
Open exclusively to independent news and convenience retailers, a panel of next-gen nicotine experts and industry leaders will provide attendees with key insights, guidance and tools for selling next-gen products in their stores once the disposable vapes ban is implemented on 1 June. It will also explore the questions and concerns retailers have voiced when preparing for the new vape regulations.

The single-use vape ban will prohibit retailers from selling any disposable vape device, and they must ensure these products are safely disposed of. Failure to comply could result in legal consequences, including fixed monetary penalties starting at £200. Repeat offences could lead to further enforcement, including stop notices which would prevent businesses from selling any vaping products. Larger fines and even a potential prison sentence may also be imposed.
The Vape Regulations webinar will take place at 10am on Wednesday 21 May and is free for all independent news and convenience retailers to attend. To register to attend, please click the button and complete the form.
