Hot sauce company Tabasco has launched a new Scorpion Pepper Sauce, which it says is nearly 10 times as hot as the original variety.
According to the supplier, the pepper mash used to make the original Tabasco Red Pepper sauce falls between 20,000 and 40,000 Scoville Units, while the mash used in Scorpion Pepper Sauce measures 100,000 Scoville units.
Scorpion Pepper Sauce is available in 60ml bottles, in cases of 12. AB World Foods is the distribution partner for Tabasco sauces in the UK.
