Swizzels Drumstick Rhubarb and Custard flavour launched

Swizzels has added to its drumstick range, with a new Swizzels Drumstick Rhubarb and Custard flavour, available from 20 April.

The company says the launch follows the success of Rhubard and Custard Squashies and as Swizzels 10p bars grow by 13%.

Swizzels Drumstick Rhubard and Custard are available in cases of 60, with each bar individually wrapped to bring back the retro rhubarb and custard flavour.

Great British Puds Chew Bars launched by Swizzels

The chew bars are vegan friendly and will be available from all major wholesalers, including Unitas, Booker, Confex, Bestway and Hancocks.

Mark Walker, sales director at Swizzels, said: “Rhubarb is a classic confectionery flavour and is becoming a huge trend across other categories, from alcohol to bakery, as it provides a sense of nostalgia.”

Swizzels is supporting the launch with customer marketing materials and promotional pricing.
