Non-alcoholic, shrub-infused liquor Sprigster will now be stocked and distributed by wine and spirits supplier Enotria & Coe.

Simon Hurley, chairman of Sprigster Drinks, said: “We are delighted to have launched our alcohol-free drink, Sprigster, with Enotria & Coe, the UK’s leading wine and spirit supplier. We have bought from Enotria & Coe for a while at Pythouse Kitchen Garden so we feel we have got to know them as a customer.

“We feel positively that they will look after Sprigster as well as they have looked after us.”

Sprigster was awarded a Gold Star in the Great Taste Awards last month and has been shortlisted as a finalist at the Great British Food Awards 2021 in the ‘Non-alcoholic spirits, beers and wine’ category.

Non-alcoholic liquors is a fast-growing category, providing consumers with an alternative to add to both non-alcoholic and alcoholic cocktails.

Theo Maxfield, Pythouse Kitchen Garden’s mixologist, said: “Sprigster is reminiscent of a shrub without being syrupy, it has a gentle natural sweetness rather than that of added sugar.

“The addition of hops and fennel, and bitterness from rhubarb brings it into the realm of an aperitif – similar to that of an Italian gentian liqueur. Making it perfect in place of a fortified wine or aromatic liqueur in spritz cocktails or for making a low alcohol variation on a negroni bianco.”

Sprigster can be bought as a single 70cl bottle (RRP £26) with the option to buy a hand-made wooden gift gift box (RRP £25) containing a 20cl bottle of Sprigster, two 150ml cans of Fever-Tree tonic, natural drinking stars and dried fruit garnish.
