Vimto and Levi Roots soft drinks manufacturer Nichols is launching a sparkly slush and new flavours to help retailers drive sales.
The new products include Vimto Remix Watermelon, Strawberry and Peach and Levi Roots Coconut Mango and Chilli.
Both flavours will be available to retailers in price-marked packs.
Ed Jones, senior customer marketing manager at Nichols, said: "We’ve seen how important PMPs are in building trust between retailers and their shoppers – and ultimately in driving sales.”
The company also announced that all of its brands will be exempt from the sugar tax when it enters the market from April 6.
Emma Hunt, Nichols head of marketing, said that the company will support independent retailers and urged them to use their EPoS to identify the bestsellers.
Nichols is also launching a new slush ice product, which will be available to conveneince retailers from April.
Unicorn Starslush is a watermelon-flavoured slush, which contains glitter.
The launch taps into the frozen confectionery market, which has grown by 8.7% in the past year. Watermelon flavours have grown by 3.9%.
"This is a potential game changer," said Jones.
"Watermelon is a firm favourite with consumers, particularly in the warmer months."
