Walkers to launch four new football-themed crisps flavours as part of UEFA tie-up
Additional on-pack promotion on select Doritos and Walkers Max varieties offers cash prizes
PepsiCo is marking its ongoing sponsorship of the UEFA Champions League with four new limited-edition Walkers crisps flavours.
Launching on 3 May, the new flavours are inspired by popular matchday foods. They are: Steak and Ale Pie-nalty, Hot Shot Hot Dog, Chicken Tackle Masala, and Sour Cream and Sweet Chilli Kicker.
They will be available in multipacks of five, £1 price-marked packs (PMPs) and grab bags.
Additionally, PepsiCo is rolling out an on-pack promotion across all of its Doritos range except for Stax and Dipping variants, and its Walkers Max Paprika, Flame Grilled Steak, Paprika PMP, Strong Hot Chicken Wings, and Strong Jalapeno & Cheese PMPs.
This promotion offers on-pack QR codes with 570,000 cash prizes of £10, £20, or £100 to be won.
Josephine Taylor, senior brand manager at PepsiCo, said: “Football is one of the most popular sports in the UK, playing a massive role in British culture.
“With fans nationwide deprived of their summer of sport last year, and two British teams in the semi-finals of this year’s UEFA Champions League, everything is still to play for ahead of the final in Istanbul on 29th May, the perfect time to launch our biggest ever sponsorship campaign.”
