Walkers is helping retailers grow their snack sales with the introduction of two new price-marked lines for Monster Munch.

Roast Beef and Pickled Onion flavours of Monster Munch are now available in 39p PMPs. They join Cheeseballs, Snaps, Frazzles, Twisted and Chipsticks in the price-marked range.

In addition, Walkers is producing a four-case stacker and in-store PoS, which will now include the new Monster Munch packs, to help retailers maximise the impact offered by value snacks.

“From January 2015, we will also be supporting the Walkers 39p value snacks range with a ‘three for £1’ promotion to help increase basket spend for retailers while also building shopper trust to encourage repeat purchases,” said Matt Goddard, field sales director at Walkers owner PepsiCo.

“Sixty-one per cent of shoppers think price-marked packs in independent local retailers offer better prices than the supermarkets.”
