Pringles has launched a huge on-pack promotion to net retailers more sales ahead of the World Cup.

The snack brand is offering shoppers the chance to send off for a limited-edition Umbro football shirt by purchasing two £1.79 price-marked promotional cans of Original, Sour Cream & Onion, Salt & Vinegar, and Texas BBQ Sauce flavours.

Suzie Mathewson, trade sector controller at Kellogg’s, said: “By combining our high-value shirt promo with a value-for-money price-marked pack, we’re going to drive rate of sale further and increase profits for retailers during a key trading period.”

The promotion, which runs until the end of the month, will be backed by a £2m ad campaign.
