KP Snacks has revealed it will be focusing on its Pom-Bear, Hula Hoops and McCoy’s brands in wholesale for the remainder of the year.
The supplier’s trading director, Matt Collins, told RN: “We’ve had the recent launch of Hula Hoops Flavarings and this will be supported in wholesaler depots and convenience with sharing and pricemarked packs.
“We will also have a big push with back-to-school promotions for Pom-Bear, while McCoy’s and the KP Snacks range will be a focus for us throughout Christmas.”
The plans follow KP Snacks acquiring the Tyrrells and Popchips brands earlier this year.
Commenting on the acquisitions, Mr Collins said: “2018 has been a big year for KP Snacks with the two acquisitions. It’s still early days to finalise our full plans for the brands, but the key to maximising the potential of these products in wholesale and convenience is highlighting the provenance or healthier aspects of KP Snacks.
“These are growing trends and are what customers will be looking out for.”
