P&G has announced that its Duracell brand will become an official tournament provider for this year’s Rugby World Cup.

The deal will include Duracell running competitions to win tickets to matches online and in-store. It will also provide a range of its batteries to support the tournament.

The brand is also partnering with sports data company Opta to create a video that compares defining moments of past Rugby World Cup matches.

It will be shown from August 13 until November on Duracell’s digital channels and by media partner Mail Online, as well as 13 outdoor public viewings across the UK.
