And for motoring fans, the next couple of months bring exciting times, with this year’s Formula One underway and myriad sporting events, shows and classic car get-togethers coming up.

Motoring events to gear up for:

  • This year’s Formula One began with the Australian Grand Prix on 16 March and continues with events in Malaysia, Bahrain, China and Spain throughout April and May
  • Revving up the season, the first race of the 2014 FIA World Endurance Championships will take place during the weekend of the 18 – 20 April in Silverstone
  • Stratford-upon-Avon is the place for petrolheads to gather on 4 May, when more than 300 classic cars and special interest vehicles will be on display for the town’s Festival of Motoring
  • From 26-29 June, the Goodwood Festival of Speed will showcase everything from historic motor racing vehicles to the latest concept cars and MotoGP bikes, held in the grounds of the Goodwood estate.
