M&M’s launches new Hi Protein bars
The new bars have an RRP of £2 each
Mars Consumer Drinks & Treats is launching a protein range under its M&M’s brand, with M&M’s Hi Protein Chocolate and M&M’s Hi Protein Chocolate Peanut bars.
As part of its sports nutrition range, the bars contain 15g of protein and 192 calories, designed for consumers looking for on-the-go protein options. The bars have an RRP of £2 and are available to convenience retailers now.
Michelle Frost, general manager at Mars Consumer Drinks & Treats, said: “We continue to see all major supermarkets quickly expanding their protein bar ranges, with taste and brand trust playing vital roles in driving increased demand, as health and wellbeing continues to be one the fastest growing trends.”
Earlier this year, the supplier expanded its Twix range with protein powders, as well as making its Snickers Hi-Protein Peanut Butter bar a permanent line after the initial limited-edition launch.
Frost added: “We are confident that both M&M’s bars will be in similar demand.”
