Each flavour has an RRP of £2.99 and is free from gluten, dairy and nuts, as well as being suitable for vegans.

The kits come with rice noodles, sauce and a garnish. They will be available to independent retail and wholesale from July after the Thai Red Curry and Katsu Curry packs launch this week in Sainsbury’s.

Debbie king, Tiger Tiger sales and marketing director, said: “The rapid rise in consumer demand for taste adventure and free from, combined with the popularity of replicating restaurant-style meals at home, means that there is now a huge opportunity for retailers to capitalise on these growing trends.

“Until now there has not been a range of Asian inspired, free-from noodle meal kits available in the UK as they tend to have been only Thai-based, so we’re delighted to be bringing all these wonderful flavours to market while also meeting the needs of our health conscious free-from consumers.”

Later on this year, Tiger Tiger is planning a brand refresh, which it will support with PR, in-store partnerships, advertising and social media, as well as a new website.
