Premier Foods is focusing on price this autumn, with the roll-out of a 20-strong range of core price-marked lines.

The range, which includes key brands such as Sharwoods, Bisto, Oxo, Homepride and Ambrosia, has been created to help retailers boost their sales. They will all be available from September. 

 13% of UK adults say they intend to buy more PMPs in the next 12 months

Ellie Krupa, trading director at Premier Foods, said the initiative followed the success of the company’s PMP drive last year. 

“We know shoppers are becoming increasingly savvy, with 84% of UK adults claiming to be particularly aware of product prices when shopping in convenience stores,” she said. 

“With half of the retailers in the UK intending to stock more PMPs over the next 12 months, our wide range of products will support them in their quest to drive sales.”
