Mars Chocolate is proving it is worth its salt by launching Galaxy Salted Caramel on February 22.

Supported by a £12m campaign, which includes a TV ad running for 44 weeks, Galaxy Salted Caramel comes in a single bar, RRP 60p, and sharing block, RRP £1.39. The sharing block is also available in price-marked packs.

PoS, such as dumpbins, counter tops units, hook over news units, posters, wobblers and floor-standing display units, is available to support the launch.

Bep Dhaliwal, trade communications manager for Mars Chocolate, said: “The salted caramel food trend is here to stay and we’re confident that the new bars are going to be popular among consumers wanting to try something different,” she added.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Caramel range is undergoing a packaging redesign so it stands out from the other Galaxy variants.
