A new limited edition from Nestlé Confectionery is expected to have mass appeal with shoppers this summer. 

KitKat Chunky Orange returned to shelves from May 12, RRP 60p. It was last available for a limited period two years ago and racked up £1.3m in sales.   

James Maxton, Nestlé UK & Ireland senior corporate communications manager, suggested retailers looking to make the most of the launch displayed the bar off-shelf so shoppers didn’t miss it. 

He added: “With 18 to 30-year-old males the target audience for KitKat Chunky, this limited edition will once again attract additional younger shoppers into stores.”

When KitKat Chunky Orange last hit the market at the start of 2012 as an eight-week limited edition, it achieved £1.3m in sales.
