Mondelez has unveiled a new ‘Win the Captain’ promotion under its Cadbury and Maynards Bassetts range.

The ‘Win the Captain’ promotion will run from May until July and offers shoppers the chance to win a day with an international football captain.

Belgian footballer Eden Hazard is one of the captains shoppers have the chance to meet, as well as Dutch footballer Virgil Van Dijk. Harry Kane is also among the line-up.

‘Win the Captain’ will feature on more than 100 packets across the Cadbury and Maynards Bassetts range, including sharing bags, singles, multipacks, large bags and biscuit ranges.

As well as the chance to win a day with an international footfall captain, shoppers also have the opportunity to win thousands of experiences, including stadium tours, esports and bubble football games.

After buying a product shoppers then enter the barcode and batch code on captain.cadburyfc.com.

The promotion was launched as part of Cadbury FC and will be supported through a media campaign.

On-pack promotion inviting shoppers to purchase will run across bestselling lines, including Dairy Milk, Twirl, Wispa, Cadbury Fingers and Maynards Bassetts Wine Gums. Other participating lines will instead have an off-pack promotion.
