Mondelez has revealed its Halloween confectionery lineup for the 2021 season, with new Cadbury and Oreo products available in different pack formats.
New products include Mini Oreo Spooky Bags, larger packs filled with eight treat-sized bags of Mini Oreos, which the supplier says works well for trick or treating and Halloween parties. Mondelez has also launched Spooky Oreo Rollpack, which has a vanilla flavour centre in a Halloween themed packaging, as well as Cadbury Skeleton Fingers, which are Cadbury Chocolate Fingers with seasonal packaging.
The supplier is also bringing back Cadbury Goo Heads, available in Creepy Skeleton, Pumpkin, Frankenstein, Dracula or Werewolf variants. They are available either individually for 55p, in a pack of five (which the supplier says was the number one traditional Halloween line of 2020) for £2.85, or in a 78g bag of Mini Goo Heads with an RRP of £1.49.
Cadbury Oreoooo is also making a return in a 72g bag of Oreo Mini Filled Eggs with Halloween branding, at an RRP of £1.49, as are Cadbury Treatsize bags, along with Freddo and Friends Treatsize and Cadbury Crunchie Treatsize, all of which are priced at £2.79.
Despite the difficult circumstances of last year’s Halloween, Mondelez grew its market share for the occasion. It is also launching 100% recyclable cupboard clip strips for retailers to use with Oreoooo and Goo Heads bags.
