Retailers can now stock Flipz in £1 price-marked packs (PMP) in a move that will “help them take a bigger bite out of snacking”, according to owner Pladis.

Launching in 80g packs, the £1 PMPs are available to retailers to stock from now.

Jonathan Bull, head of McVitie’s commercial & seasonal brands at Pladis, said the launch was “independent retailers’ ticket to sales growth in the everyday treats category”.

“Sales of Flipz are up by 57% in impulse and its Milk Chocolate variety has been a particular hit. PMPs remain a sure-fire way of demonstrating value to shoppers and in turn driving sales,” he added.
