With sales increasing by 38% in the past two years, Border Biscuits is backing its Dark Chocolate Ginger with a new ‘Famously fiery’ campaign.

The £3.5m campaign includes TV and online advertising, with the aim to increase the brand’s market share of the special treat category from its current 11%.

It follows the company announcing its plans to remove more than 90% of plastic from its packaging and reducing weight by 50%.

John Cunningham, Border Biscuits managing director, said: “We are a growing family-owned business and we have an ambitious strategy to continue to build sales.”
