Diageo is extending its Smirnoff range with the launch of a Mango & Passionfruit Twist flavour, available exclusively from Booker, with plans to expand into wider convenience from March 2022.

Smirnoff Mango & Passionfruit Twist follows the launch of the brand’s Raspberry Crush flavour in the summer, which generated £6m in the first 10 weeks.

The launch aims to help retailers capitalise on the demand for flavoured spirits, which accounted for 87% of spirits growth in 2019.

Nick Payman, head of Smirnoff GB at Diageo, said: “Smirnoff Mango & Passionfruit Twist echoes the vibrant, fun and bold new packaging that Raspberry Crush is now also known for, emulating the fruit flavours and guaranteeing on-shelf appeal.

“We have strong ambitions for our growing flavour range and are excited to be bringing a brand-new variety to our customers following the successful launch of Raspberry Crush, as well as growing consumer demand.”

The new flavour is ideal to drink over ice mixed with lemonade and garnished with a slice of lime or passionfruit, or as a Mango & Passionfruit Martini, Spritz or Punch Cocktail.
