Net sales across Diageo’s key brands, including Guinness, Tanqueray and Gordon’s, have increased by 8% in the UK, driven by strong performances in Guinness Draught and Hop House 13 Lager, its 2018 preliminary results have revealed.

Charles Ireland, general manager at Diageo Great Britain, Ireland and France, said: “Reserve brands delivered double-digit net sales, led by scotch. In gin, Tanqueray’s popularity continued to grow, gaining share in the category and delivering strong double-digit net sales growth.”
