Lucozade Energy is permanently adding Apple Blast to its range, after it was first launched in 2018 as part of the brand’s partnership with Lara Croft: Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Apple Blast is available in 380ml and 500ml bottles, and the launch will be supported by a marketing campaign later this year, with the flavour being Lucozade Energy’s third most popular flavour in the independent and symbol channel, after core Orange and Original flavours.

Amie Farrell, senior brand manager for Lucozade Energy at Lucozade Ribena Suntory, said: “After only a few months on shelf, Lucozade Energy Apple has driven over £2m in sales for retailers, making it the biggest launch for the brand in three years. The popularity of apple-flavoured drinks, already bought by 46% of UK shoppers, is a clear opportunity for retailers to drive sales within the energy category.”
