The new format will be available to Rubicon Spring’s Black Cherry Raspberry and Orange Mango flavours from March, in single cans (RRP £1.29) and four-pack multipacks (RRP £3.49).
The launch comes as sleek 330ml cans have grown by 40% since 2019. Additionally, Rubicon Spring is the number-one flavoured sparkling water in the UK, having brought more than 600,000 shoppers to the Rubicon brand since March 2020, and adding £4m in the last year.
Adrian Troy, marketing director at Barr, said: “Taste remains the number-one reason for shoppers to choose a soft drink, but drinking occasions are changing. With more than two billion ‘healthy lunch’ occasions now enjoyed at home, customers are increasingly looking for new and exciting flavours and formats to try, so a variety of formats is key.”
