The promotion sees 16 golden compasses hidden inside cans of Doom Bar in participating four- and 10-can multipacks this summer. Each golden compass finder will win a week’s campervan hire for two people, as well as a £200 activities voucher, two outdoor jackets and a rucksack.
Additionally, there will be thousands of outdoor prizes up for grabs, including electric mountain bikes, North Face rucksacks, outdoor ceramic grills and Rick Stein food boxes, as well as more than 12,000 gift cards.
James Nicholls, marketing controller at Sharp’s, said: “Our home in Cornwall inspires everything about the way we brew and our culture at Sharp’s, and our new campaign aims to capture the sense of adventure that the region is renowned for.
“As retailers look forward to a busy summer, our giveaway will help them to attract more customers with the biggest amber ale on the market.”
The supplier will support the promotion with in-store PoS materials. It is also under the umbrella of its wider #Inyourelement campaign, running across out-of-home, digital, social media and on-demand this summer.
