Adelie Foods has launched two new sandwiches under its Urban Eat brand for the autumn period, aimed at increasing sales of food to go during seasonal periods.
The two varieties include a vegetarian option, Squash’d, and Herby Chicken.
Isla Owen, head of brand at Adelie Foods, said a fifth of shoppers stated that an increase in seasonal or festive specials would encourage them to buy more food and drink on the go, according to data analysts MCA.
She added: “Both products also cater for consumer demands for nutritional products that have natural ingredients, while eight out of 10 shoppers are actively trying to improve their diets.”
The autumn seasonal specials are available now until 4 November, with an RRP of £2.79.
